Care & storage
Preserved material asks very little of you, but it does ask for these five things consistently.
Preserved flowers are stabilised for interior environments. Weather, condensation and UV all break the material down.
Water reintroduces exactly what the process removed. It softens petals and can cause dye to run onto adjacent material.
Every dye fades eventually; direct sun accelerates it dramatically. North-facing light or indirect is fine.
Bathrooms, kitchens and unheated warehouses shorten the life. If humidity is a problem in your market, tell us and we will pack accordingly.
A feather duster or a cool, low-power air blower. Never a damp cloth, never a hairdryer on heat.
Keep stock sealed in its carton at 15–25 °C until needed. Opened cartons of bulk petals should be resealed — they pick up ambient moisture.
Terminology
If preserved flowers are new to your business, these are the terms that come up in every quotation.
Buying FAQ
Usually yes, on most references. That is the practical way to test a range without committing to a full carton of each shade. Ask us which references allow mixing — a few of the larger formats do not.
We keep a retained physical sample of every approved colour and match each re-order against it. If a new harvest shifts the base tone enough to matter, we tell you before shipping rather than after.
Photograph the carton and the affected pieces within 48 hours of delivery and send it to us. We assess it case by case and, where the fault is ours, we replace or credit. Transit damage is handled with the carrier as well.
Both. Common stock colours and sizes are held and ship in 7–15 days. Custom colours and large volumes are scheduled into production. If you have a hard deadline, tell us early and we will confirm what is actually available rather than guessing.
Yes — neutral packing with no VivaPetal branding and no pricing documentation inside is available for dropship arrangements. Ask for it when you place the order.
Yes. September through January is our busiest period, driven by Christmas, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day production. Add roughly 7 days to standard lead times, and book freight early.
References and sizes, colours or a Pantone target, estimated quantity, and your destination city or port. A target delivery date helps too. Those four details usually save a full round of emails.
We supply trade buyers only. If you are a hobbyist looking for small quantities, we can point you to retailers who stock our materials.
Still deciding
If none of the above answers it, write to us directly — we would rather answer a short question than send you a brochure.
